 The Seventh IEFS China Annual Conference

(Beijing, China, July 15-17, 2015)

Organized by the University of International Business and Economics and IEFS China

CALL FOR PAPERS

 

We are pleased to announce that the Seventh International Economics and Finance Society (IEFS) China annual conference will be held on July 15-17, 2015  in Beijing, China. The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and Capital University of Economics and Finance (CUEF) will host the conference together. This year we also organize a special session as the policy forum, "International Policy Forum", which will be held on July 15, 2015, 9:30 am-12:00 pm in CUEF. This forum focuses on current policies within the framework of our IEFS China 2015 annual conference, while the regular conference sessions are still held July 16-17, 2015. We welcome all audience from different backgrounds to sit in and discuss with us then. The organizers of the 2015 annual conference welcome your submission for paper presentation.

The IEFS China was established in 2008 and since then we have organized annual international conferences on various topics in the field of international trade and finance. And the past conferences, hosted by University of International Business and Economics in Beijing (2009, 2010, 2011), by Nankai University in Tianjin (2012), by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (2013), and by University of International Business and Economics in Beijing (2014) have been well attended with established and rising scholars in the field from all over the world.

Supporting SSCI Journals

We are in the process of lining up a few key journals as supporting journals for this conference. All speakers are strongly encouraged (though not obligated) to submit their conference papers for publication, subject to the normal refereeing process.

Papers presented at the conference, subject to further refereeing, may be considered for publication in special issue/section in Review of Development Economics or Journal of International Trade and Economic Development. More supporting SSCI journals will be available in the future, while we strongly encourage paper presenters to discuss and/or visit their journal websites. More information will be made available on the official websites.

 

Submission for Presentation

1. Submissions must be made before June 25, 2015 through Email: iefschina@gmail.com

2. While we prefer papers in their entirety, we also welcome submissions of extended abstracts (up to 400 words).

3. Upon acceptance of their papers, authors must confirm their attendance by completing the registration on or before July 1, 2015.

4. Accepted papers in their entirety must be submitted on or before July 5, 2015.

5. All papers will be presented in English.
